In the first verse, the narrator realizes that she’s falling crazily infatuated (or, in love perhaps) with the addressee. He has become her everything despite knowing that being with him brings about some “pain”. However, he also is the “cure”. She’s never been exposed lớn such an intense feeling before so she didn’t expect that “it could mean so much”.

During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, Goulding performed a touching acoustic rendition of “Love Me lượt thích You Do” from her home.
